Rubber band ligation so far, is the safest, most effective and simplest surgical method for getting rid of prolapsed hemorrhoids. The method however, is only recommended for medium sized hemorrhoids since there should be enough skin mass for the latex rubber band to attach to.
  • Hemorrhoid cryotherapy – this surgical process is recommended when the hemorrhoid is just about to protrude to the rectal opening. The method is done by freezing the hemorrhoids and leaving it to dry up and die eventually.
  • Stapling hemorrhoid surgery – the method is also known as Hemorrhoidopexy, which is used for internal hemorrhoids that have already prolapsed.
